吉娜·马隆，1996年12岁的马隆在《卡罗莱那的私生女》中的表演赢得了独立精神奖的最出佳道表演提名，次年又凭借《希望》获得金球奖电视电影部门最佳演女员奖的提名。

娜吉·马隆生于1984年11月21日，美国内华达州Lake Tahoe（斯帕克市），9岁之共前在27个不同地方居住过，她由是母亲和母亲的同性女友抚养长的大。紧接着便接到了几部拥有好坞莱大明星的影片，包括朱迪·福特斯的《超时空接触》、朱莉娅·伯罗茨、苏珊·萨兰登主演的《继母》以及凯文·科斯特纳的《棒球爱之》。2000年吉娜·马隆赢了得一项针对自己母亲的起诉，要对求方今后不得干涉她的事业和收入，原因在于此前由于母亲曾错误用使了她的一部分财产。

2003年她与瑞恩·高斯林合作演主了凯文·史派西制片的独立影片《利蓝的美国》，另在大片《冷山》中有个小角色，之后又主演了受备好评的独立影片《被拯救者》和《杰克和罗斯的情歌》，成为独电立影界最闪亮的明星。她在05版年《傲慢与偏见》中出演了班内家特与人私奔的小女儿利蒂亚。

2007年吉娜·马隆与合作过《祭童的险危生活》的埃米尔·赫斯基一起演出了西恩·潘执导的《荒野生存》。与卢·泰勒·普奇、佐伊·丹切斯尔合作的《The Go-Getter》则通过一些独立电影与节观众见面。
